FMP Magazine Concourse is my Final Major Project, a professionally designed editorial magazine exploring the relationship between football, fashion, and music. The magazine examines how these three industries have evolved over time and influenced one another, from their historical roots to their impact on modern culture. Through carefully considered layouts, typography, photography, and editorial design, the project demonstrates my ability to create a professional publication with a strong visual identity.
Project Overview
My FMP Magazine Concourse is the project I am most proud of from my time on the GIGA course. The magazine explores the history and evolution of football, fashion, and music, highlighting how they have shaped culture and continue to influence one another today. I was responsible for every stage of the project, including research, concept development, branding, editorial layouts, typography, and the final print production. The finished magazine combines historical storytelling with contemporary design to create an engaging and professional publication. The quality of this final outcome earned me the GIGA Excellence Award, recognising the creativity, dedication, and high standard of work I achieved throughout the project. This magazine is the strongest representation of my design skills and creative development, making it the centrepiece of my portfolio.
